"The only place I would stay at Sanibel!
This is my second time to stay at the Tarpon Tale Inn and I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else! The inn is within walking distance to the beach (about a block) and is close to the lighthouse. It is across the street from a great ice cream and bakery shop … I would never stay anywhere else but here!!!!"

"Great honeymoon cottage!
My husband and I stayed here during the last half of our honeymoon, and we absolutely loved it. It was quiet and cozy, and very convenient for all of our needs. We had a fully equipped kitchen, which we used fairly frequently. We also had access to bicycles which was amazing for getting to the beach super quick, they also offer beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, shelling gear, and many more conveniences. The owners were very nice and helpful. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Sanibel!"

"Accommodations could not have been nicer. Everything is fresh and spotless. Joe really knows the island if you need advice getting around. Restaurant across the street is a great find.Tarpon Tale is a great family place close to the beach and lighthouse. Complimentary bikes are in great shape and a nice way to get to know Sanibel. Will stay again"

"Tarpon Tale exceeded my expectations in an island stay. Mermaid room was exceptionally clean and fresh. Larger than I expected with ample room in bathroom, shower, indoor and outdoor sitting areas. We used the bikes and beach supplies, all well maintained.
Great location at quiet end of the island. Walked to beach and places to eat for breakfast, lunch or dinner. External sink and shower great for cleaning off sand.
Rode to lighthouse, along trails and lower end of captiva. Really relaxing and a gem.
Note-bring extra bug spray for sunrise and sunset."

"My Daughter and I decided to take a trip a couple months ago, we didn’t pick a place to stay before hand, we were more interested in the journey, we came across this amazing little gem, from the hospitality, environment, accommodation, location and so much more, we had planned on staying one night and loved it so much that we ended up staying there thru out our whole trip, I highly recommend!
